Show And Tell
Matthew 11:27-28 All things are delivered
unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither
knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will
reveal him. (28) Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and
I will give you rest. (KJV)
There is a lot going on in the realm of
the Spirit, a lot better than what we see going on in this fallen realm
that’s for sure. Remember show and tell when you were in school, how you
would take something that interested you and spent some time studying how
it worked and then told others about it? God expects us to show and tell
also; He is showing people their way of escape from this present evil world
so that they too can tell others about it as well.
1 John 2:18-20 Little children, it is the
last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are
there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. (19) They
went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they
would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might
be made manifest that they were not all of us. (20) But ye have an unction
from the Holy One, and ye know all things. (KJV)
One of the first things that a parent
teaches a child about is the dangers of this world, and the things that are
unhealthy to them. The writer in these passages is telling the people about
the enemy and how he can be identified to avoid this spiritual danger. An
unction means an anointing; an anointing which is from the Holy One
Himself, that being Christ, so that we could know for ourselves the things
of His realm. You are now able to know, not only the things of this realm
but now the things of the Spiritual realm as well, which makes us complete,
and why the term ‘all things’ is used.
1 John 2:21-24 I have not written unto
you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie
is of the truth. (22) Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the
Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. (23) Whosoever
denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth
the Son hath the Father also. (24) Let that therefore abide in you, which
ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the
beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in
the Father. (KJV)
That Holy One that the enemy doesn’t want
you to know, well, that’s just the One who we need to know if we desire to
know the things of God. No wonder then that the enemy is described as
antichrist, trying to keep Christ out of the picture so that you won’t
allow Him to show you the things of His realm and tell others how He
operates.
Acts 10:36-38 The word which God sent
unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord
of all:) (37) That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all
Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; (38)
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who
went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil;
for God was with him. (KJV)
You know, when you accepted the Lord into
your life you too were anointed with this same Holy Ghost, and don’t forget
with power also. God is with you also, because He gave you His Spirit to
operate in and provided you with this power source as well so that you too
can do good and bring healing to any and all that are oppressed. So what
kind of message are you bringing today; one of power and deliverance, or
one of fear and doubt? It all depends on what source you allow to have the
most influence on you.
Romans 1:16-17 For I am not ashamed of
the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one
that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (17) For therein
is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written,
The just shall live by faith. (KJV)
Wow, no wonder the enemy of God is
described as antichrist, because by keeping Christ out of the picture you
won’t have much to tell about, at least not anything that involves power.
People that actually know what they are talking about are able to deliver a
message with power, something or I should say someone that the enemy sure
doesn’t want told.
1 John 2:26-29 These things have I
written unto you concerning them that seduce you. (27) But the anointing
which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man
teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is
truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in
him. (28) And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall
appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his
coming. (29) If ye know that he is
righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him. (KJV)
Do you know how to rightly divide the word
of truth, exercising your Spiritual senses so that you won’t be knocked
senseless by the enemy? Well, if you want to know all things then you need
to go to the one and only source that knows this and will not lie. Those
that tap into this knowledge from above will deliver a message with power,
so that they can tell others how to abide and stay in good standing with
our Father.
Mark 4:11-13 And he said unto them, Unto
you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them
that are without, all these things are done in parables: (12) That seeing
they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not
understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins
should be forgiven them. (13) And he said unto them, Know ye not this
parable? and how then will ye know all parables? (KJV)
All this week the question being
discussed is ‘what do you know’, and where are you looking for your answer?
What we have found out through the Word is that if you desire to know the
answer to a Spiritual question then you will need to go through the Spirit
to find out the answer for yourself. Someday we will all have to stand
before our God and give an account of what we know is the answer to the
mystery of His kingdom. My prayer is that you will let Him show you
personally through His Son so that you can tell others what you know, not
just what you think is the eternal answer from above. God bless and enjoy
the show.
