Psalms 17:1-2 Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips. (2) Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal. (KJV)

How many of you have ever cried out to the Lord seeking something that was valuable to your need? How many have been relieved, having seen the Lord respond to that need as well? I am sure we all could raise our hands and recall a time or two thousand. How many are attending to the Lord in return, giving ear to His voice to see what He would like from us? That is where many are no shows at the daily roll calls, having run off to their next desire or imagination that they think will bring peace and contentment to their lives.

Psalms 25:3-5 Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause. (4) Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths. (5) Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. (KJV)

Hey here is another way of looking at theses verses, how about looking at yourself as a Spiritual waiter attending to the Lord’s desire and purpose? Are you willing to go to His table on a daily basis and get His order, not only for yourself but for any of His people that would come into His house seeking a Spiritual meal? How many are taking the time to hear the Lord’s order for where He would have them operate today, or did you only get part of it and took off before hearing it all?

Luke 17:12-14 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: (13) And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. (14) And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. (KJV)

How many times do people keep going to the Lord seeking His provision, crying out to the Lord for an answer? As we see illustrated above, God is good on His end and is willing that none should perish but has an answer for those that are seeking.

Luke 17:15-19 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, (16) And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. (17) And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? (18) There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. (19) And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. (KJV)

The numbers speak for themselves, and quite accurately describe what still continues today; many will come to the Lord in a time of trial only to run the opposite direction and not return. So how would you describe your walk with the Lord, have you returned to give thanks and seek not only to be whole but stay that way? Are you one of the few that has returned to the Lord’s table so that when He checks you out you are available to worship and serve Him in Spirit and in truth?
