Get Your Buts Out Of The Way
Philippians 4:12-13 I know both how to be
abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am
instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer
need. (13) I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (KJV)
The Bible says that godliness with
contentment is great gain. Knowing that you brought nothing into this
world, knowing also that nothing will be leaving with you either, hopefully,
will help keep your heart and desires set more on something you can take
with you. God is looking for those that will worship Him in Spirit and in
truth, while all other candidates will be passed over. Paul decided that he
was a can do guy, because he became indoctrinated with a can do man, that
being Christ within him, which had now become his source. Paul decided he
was going to eliminate the words ‘but or can’t’ from his vocabulary and
replace them with words that were Spirit, and would bring forth and
manifest life.
Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply
all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (KJV)
Paul got his but in the right place; that
being the realm of God who he chose to be his source, spirit, soul, and
body. We talked last week and were instructed on what the root of all evil
is, that being a love of money which not only a few were caught up in of this
fallen realm, but many had fallen for the riches of this life over the
eternal riches. Obviously there is a treasure chest of Spiritual blessings,
or riches located at the right hand of God; and how few are pointed that
way, let alone who access something that will endure forever. The more you
get in tune and set your affection above, the less likely you will fall for
any cheap mirage or imitation of the enemy, whose goal is to keep the
people of God imprisoned to the things of this realm.
Colossians 2:2-4 That their hearts might
be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full
assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God,
and of the Father, and of Christ; (3) In whom are hid all the treasures of
wisdom and knowledge. (4) And this I say, lest any man should beguile you
with enticing words. (KJV)
You know, you just can’t buy this stuff
people, no matter how many ways it is peddled by mankind and their so
called ministers peddling the things of God to the highest bidders. No
matter what you try doing, if it is not in line with the doctrine of
Christ, then you are like a bottom feeder settling for anything down here.
What a vast wealth it truly is to experience the love of God through
Christ, then to have full assurance and understanding of how His plan of
salvation really works. To know this Spiritual wisdom and have access to
this knowledge is the only thing that will eliminate and cast out all fear
and doubts brought on by our lower fallen natures leaning to that
understanding alone.
Romans 11:33-36 O the depth of the riches
both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his
judgments, and his ways past finding out! (34) For who hath known the mind
of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? (35) Or who hath first given
to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? (36) For of him, and
through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. (KJV)
Oh by the way, God does not respond to
people by their giving to His so called work, who then act like God owes
them a hundred fold return, nonsense. The more you know of God, the more
you renew your mind with the mind of Christ, the more you will treasure the
things above and not get entangled with the silly, carnal, petty things
below. So get and keep your buts out of the way, quit telling God what He
can’t do and start thanking Him for what He already has done on our behalf.
No ifs, ands, or buts anymore.
